Look, I'll be straight with you - we started Drakar Veil back in 2012 because I was honestly tired of seeing buildings that looked impressive but felt... empty. You know what I mean? All flash, no soul.
We're based here in Toronto, and every project we take on is about finding that sweet spot where contemporary design doesn't just look good in photos but actually works for the people using it. I've spent the last 15 years figuring out how to make sustainable architecture that doesn't scream "look how eco-friendly I am!" - it just... is.

Our Approach
Here's the thing - we don't do cookie-cutter. Every site has its own story, every client has different needs, and honestly, that's what makes this work exciting. Whether it's a residential project in the Annex or a commercial build downtown, we start by listening. Like, really listening.
Our team's small but that's intentional. Six architects, three designers, and a whole lot of coffee. We've worked on everything from heritage restorations (which test your patience, trust me) to ground-up sustainable builds. The common thread? We're obsessed with how spaces actually function once people move in.

Why Toronto?
This city's going through massive growth, and frankly, not all of it's being done well. We wanted to be part of shaping Toronto's future in a way that respects its past. From Queen West to the Distillery District, there's so much potential here - and yeah, plenty of challenges too. But that's exactly why we're here.
